A school building hosts hundreds of hands, lunches and runny noses every day, and then has to be ready again by 7:30 the next morning. Clensy cleans private and charter schools, daycares, preschools, learning centers and tutoring facilities across northern New Jersey, after hours and to the standard parents expect when they walk through the door.
Classrooms and Learning Spaces
- Desks, chairs and tables cleaned and sanitized
- Whiteboards and smartboard surfaces cleaned with appropriate products
- Shared supplies, cubbies and shelving wiped
- High-touch points like door handles, light switches and railings disinfected
- Floors vacuumed and mopped, with carpets in reading corners and nap rooms kept clean
Restrooms, Cafeterias and Common Areas
These are the rooms that spread illness fastest. Restrooms are cleaned, disinfected and restocked every visit. Cafeteria tables and seating are sanitized, floors are degreased, and trash and bins are cleaned out. Hallways, entrances and offices get daily attention so the building looks cared for from the front door in.
Daycares and Childcare Centers
Young children touch everything and put most of it in their mouths. In infant and toddler rooms we pay special attention to floors where children crawl and play, changing areas, cribs and mats, and the toys and surfaces your staff identify. We work alongside your own daily sanitizing routine rather than around it, and follow the product and procedure requirements your licensing and policies set.
Green Cleaning Products
Many New Jersey schools and childcare centers ask for environmentally preferable products in classrooms. We can clean with products certified under programs like the EPA's Safer Choice label wherever disinfection is not specifically required, and with your approved disinfectants where it is.
Summer and Break Deep Cleans
Summer, winter break and spring break are the only times a school is truly empty. That is when we do the work that cannot happen during the year: moving furniture to clean floors edge to edge, washing desks and chairs inside and out, detailing restrooms, cleaning vents and light fixtures, and preparing floors for refinishing. Book early; break-week slots are the first to go.
Flu Season and Outbreak Response
When absences spike in winter, the rooms that matter most are the ones every child touches: restrooms, cafeteria tables, door handles, railings, water fountains and shared classroom supplies. We can add a focused disinfection pass on those surfaces during cold and flu season, or after a stomach bug runs through a classroom, without changing the rest of the schedule.
How School Cleaning Is Priced
Price depends on the building's square footage, the number of classrooms and restrooms, whether there is a cafeteria or kitchen, and how many days a week we clean. Most schools and daycares choose nightly service on school days, priced as a flat monthly amount for the school year, with summer and break deep cleans quoted separately. You see every number before the year starts.
